Winter Access Hours

As winter approaches, basin access will be limited to prioritize the safety of all members and staff.

Starting December 1st, access to the basin will be available daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

This schedule allows us to better manage risks associated with reduced daylight, icy conditions, and unpredictable winter weather, ensuring a safer environment for everyone.If you require access outside of these hours, please complete the form below.

Off Season Dock Access Agreement & Release

RISKS OF AFTER HOURS ACCESS

  • Winter weather conditions, including ice, snow, and freezing temperatures, significantly increase the risk of slips, falls, and other accidents.
  • Lower activity levels during the off-season mean emergency response may be delayed or unavailable.
  • Reduced visibility and decreased access to certain areas may exacerbate the risks to personal safety
  • Anything below 15°C is defined as cold water and immersion means a high risk of cold water shock which can seriously affect your breathing and movement. 
  • PLEASE: Exercise caution, including using appropriate footwear, safety equipment and lighting.
  • REFRAIN: from accessing the docks while under the influence of alcohol or other substances that may impair judgment.

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY

The Member agrees that all of his or her activities and anyone using their access card shall be at their OWN RISK, and the Member unconditionally and voluntarily assumes the entire risk of any and all accidents, incidents or personal injury, including death, which the Member may suffer, or which a person of their Party may suffer, however caused.

The Member agrees to HOLD HARMLESS AND FULLY INDEMNIFY KYC from any claims or demands which may be made against it arising out of or as a consequence of their use of the docks. If any claim or demand against KYC should arise in connection with the Members use of the docks fully indemnifies KYC as to any pursuant damages, costs, or legal fees they may incur, including the cost of any of the Members own litigation.
